Nicholas Panos didn’t learn the paving industry from a textbook—he learned it on the ground. Founded in 2023, OILROCK LLC is the culmination of a decade of hands-on labor, academic discipline, and a simple, unwavering mission: Build it right, and stand behind the work, particularly in asphalt paving services.
Nicholas began his career at just 16 years old, cutting his teeth under the mentorship of Eddie Duran at Duran’s Paving & Rentals. Those early years in the field weren't just a job; they were an education in the physical demands and technical precision required for high-quality craftsmanship, including commercial asphalt maintenance.
He later earned his Business degree from Arizona State University (ASU), combining hands-on field experience with formal business education. This dual perspective allows Nicholas to approach every project with both operational expertise and strategic oversight — understanding not only how to execute the work but also how to manage projects efficiently, responsibly, and professionally, including precision line striping.
Today, Nicholas remains actively involved in OilRock LLC’s operations, ensuring every project reflects the company’s core principles: integrity, accountability, and quality craftsmanship. As the company continues to grow, his focus remains the same — raise the standard, deliver lasting results, and build a legacy grounded in hard work and trust.
